Directions from Malaga Airport to Calahonda
From Málaga airport turn right and follow the N340 towards Cádiz, stay in the right hand land. After approx. 3 kms take the slip road on the right into the AP-7 signposted Algeciras. By-pass Torremolinos and Benalmadena. At this point you can chose to take the AP-7 (toll road) or the A7 coast road to Calahonda. My advice is to chose the AP7 (toll road) and have change ready for the toll.
Toll Road AP-7
Move to the left lane and continue on the AP-7 toll road until you see the sign for Calahonda. Take the slip road of to Calahonda. You will then come to the toll plaza and pay before you continute on to the top of Calahonda. Once through the toll plaza take the second exit of the round about. You will be able to see the tennis courts at the back of the Club Del Sol on your left. Follow the road until you come to a T junction. Turn left following the sign for Club Del Sol. Again follow the road until you come to a T junction. Turn left again following sign for the Club Del Sol. The first apartment complex on your right hand side is Las colinas De Calahonda you have arrived!
Coast Road A-7
Move to the right lane and leave the AP-7 (toll road) once you see the
sign A7 Fuengirola/Algeciras. Continue for approximately 12km past Fuengirola,
pass signs for Miraflores, a petrol station, the El Zoco shopping centre and
turn into Sitio de Calahonda, immediately after Camping Jarales turn sharp
right.
